Keystone Resort and Conference Center is known for an abundance of year-round activities like skiing and snowboarding more than 3,000 acres of terrain, mountaintop snow tubing at an elevation of 11,640 feet, snowcat tours, horse-drawn sleigh and wagon rides, snowshoeing, downhill mountain biking, paddle boating and mountaintop yoga to name a few. It’s the perfect destination for a Colorado meeting or group get-together.
Groups can easily take advantage of these activities through experiential team-building programs geared toward providing creative, fun and engaging experiences designed to educate and create platforms for personal and professional growth. There’s so much fun to be had at Keystone, you might need to remind your group that you are on a “work” trip.
One of the challenging parts about getting a group together for an activity is varied experience levels. At Keystone Resort, there is a range of team-building activities that are conducive for all ability levels. If you are looking for a more laid-back adventure, consider a horse-drawn sleigh or wagon ride and sit back and soak in the beautiful scenery as you are whisked away to a historic homestead.
If you are looking for a little more adventure, make your way to the top of Dercum Mountain for snow tubing. At Keystone Resort, snow tubing is both a winter and summer activity that your entire group can enjoy together. The multi-lane tubing hill is complete with a convenient lift allowing more laps and more fun.
For the extreme adventure seekers, look no further than downhill mountain biking in the summer. The Keystone Bike Academy will get you and your group on the right track with Bike 101, where participants learn how to balance, shift and control speed with proper mountain biking techniques. This past summer, my co-workers and I signed up for Bike 101. It was my first time downhill mountain biking and I have to say I was a bit nervous at first, but the pro tips and guided adventure made my first experience an exhilarating and exciting one that I will never forget.
No matter the time of year, it is amazing what time spent in the Rocky Mountains, with lush landscapes and spirited mountain villages, can do for groups of all types. Bring your group to explore, collaborate, brainstorm and celebrate with Keystone Resort’s experiential team-building activities. You will be sure to leave energized both personally and professionally.
