Colorado is a Mecca for Association Meetings

We love working with associations and groups to plan meetings in Colorado. The state’s central location and four seasons of entertainment make it a premier location for association groups to converge for meetings, learning, trade shows and networking.

There are numerous state and local chapters of associations that meet regularly in Colorado, resulting in all sorts of resorts, hotels, venues and suppliers with extensive experience working with these groups. There are a variety of communities for meeting planners to consider, featuring top-notch facilities and suppliers to tap into – plus experienced destination management companies to assist.

Benefits of Association Meetings in Colorado

Summer or winter, a conference or meeting in Colorado is a remarkable experience. The state is a four-seasons destination with plenty to do. During the warmer months, attendees can split their time between getting business done and cutting loose. Outdoor activities like whitewater rafting, hot-air ballooning, hiking, biking and horseback riding provide lots of opportunities to build team camaraderie. During the winter, attendees can meet and then break out of the boardroom for world-class skiing and snowboarding at some of the world’s finest resorts.

How We Can Help

We can assist with associations gatherings and know how to put you in touch with local destination marketing organizations like convention and visitor bureaus, tourism offices, chambers of commerce and destination management companies.

Tap our local expertise to find the best fit for lodging, meeting and event space, activities and entertainment in Colorado. We even have pre- and post-meeting options for attendees to extend their stay in the mountains, the city or someplace completely unique like a dude ranch or overnight outdoor adventures.

We Work with Top Association Meeting Planners

Some of the nation’s top organizations have seen great success with its Colorado event. For example, Snowsports Industries America, a trade association that has been in existence for more than 60 years, hosts its annual SIA Snow Show in Denver followed by a two-day On-Snow Demo/Ski-Ride Fest at nearby Copper Mountain Resort.

The Meetings Industry Council of Colorado, made up of 13 professional associations related to the meetings and events industry, gathers attendees from around the state and beyond at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver and a nearby host hotel each March for the MICE Educational Conference and Trade Show.

Colorado is also the national headquarters for major organizations like the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association in Centennial and the Brewers Association in Boulder.
