Colorado Brings Team Building to Life

As a meeting planner, your team looks to you for inspiration and positive change. You’re the one who is expected to think outside the box. But why not just forget the box and get outside? Reconnecting with nature is proven to be therapeutic and can vastly improve your mental state attitude and sense of well-being. It can also rejuvenate, revitalize and replenish your team’s spirit. In short, the Rocky Mountain playground can be a perfectly prescribed remedy for your company’s woes.

A team-building experience in Colorado is chock-full for color, creativity and connection. When you make the decision to go from the whiteboard in the conference room to colorful Colorado, you can motivate and create a cohesive team with renewed vision, inspired hearts and a group spirit.

What creative Colorado experience will bring your group to life? You can pick from vibrant cities filled with thriving craft breweries, outdoor venues and cultural flair, or head deep into the Rockies for adrenaline-filled skiing and snowboarding, whitewater rafting, fly-fishing, hiking, mountain biking and more. From metropolitan getaways to mountain retreats, Colorado has a little something for everyone.

Team Building in Denver

Begin your adventure in Denver, the Mile High City. Denver is a vibrant city, with 300 days of sunshine each year, a bustling cultural scene and excellent nightlife. The city is a hit with Millennials and is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in the U.S.

Many corporate meetings or team building activities start with a flight to Denver. The Denver International Airport (DIA) is one of the busiest and most convenient airports in the West. The airport has inbound and outbound flights daily from every major city in the United States as well as multiple international flights.

From the airport, your group has immediate access to all that Denver has to offer. You can take the train to Denver’s beautiful Union Station for less than $10 per person. The airport is about a 20-minute drive from downtown. There are several rental car companies at the airport.

Denver offers several top venues, from relaxed spaces for a casual event to more formal areas that are perfect for a black-tie affair. In downtown Denver, there are luxury hotels in the chic Cherry Creek district that are close to the city’s finest restaurants, entertainment and night spots. Your team can meet in upscale function spaces to get work done, then hit the city for a memorable night on the town, where you’ll enjoy  major league sports, world-class shows and entertainment, headlining concerts and stand-up comedy.

Outside the city core are a few group meeting facilities that offer plenty of space and all the amenities you need for a successful group event. Meeting planners love the value and extra space at venues in Aurora, Broomfield, Longmont and Thornton, some of Denver’s best suburbs. There are top-notch meeting facilities close to excellent shopping, athletic fields, movie theaters, fine dining and family fun, and still only a few minutes from Cherry Creek and all that downtown has to offer.

Team Building in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs is the second largest city in Colorado and about 60 miles south of Denver. The city is a gateway to nearby Pikes Peak and the surrounding Rockies to the West.

Meeting planners can pick from a wide variety of venues that provide flexible event and meeting space, hotel rooms, restaurants, spas and quick access to other points of interest in the area. Colorado Springs is home to the U.S. Olympic Training Center, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and the Garden of the Gods.

Colorado Springs has venues that can accommodate a large meeting or a more intimate group for a few dozen attendees. The city is known for its small-town hospitality and year-round entertainment – not to mention stunning surroundings that excite and inspire attendees.

Some of Colorado’s most intriguing locations are along the Front Range. Black Hawk, Boulder, Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland and Pueblo are just a few of the beautiful first-class cities that sit on or near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

Fort Collins is home to Colorado State University and presents a variety of recreation and entertainment possibilities for groups and meetings of all types and sizes.

There are a few mountain towns that are recognized for more than just downhill skiing. Destinations like Buena Vista, Crested Butte, Durango, Estes Park, Glenwood Springs and Golden have skiing nearby, but also have a full slate of activities during the warmer months as well.
